Reconstrucción en vida de Batrachognathus volans como un anurognátido de vuelo rápido con alas finas y maniobrables al estilo de un apodiforme, mucho menos especializado por supuesto, jurásico.

Esta en una madriguera excarvada directamente por él y sus congéneros en el margen terroso de un lago, como hacen actualmente los abejarrucos europeos (Merops apiaster) en el que además está basado parcialmente la máscara facial del anurognátido.

Kazajstan durante finales del Jurásico(Oxfordiano/Kimmeridgiano)

Life reconstruction of Batrachognathus volans as an apodiform-like anurognathid, with thin and manoeuvreable wings.

It`s on its burrow digged in the shore of a lake by itself in order to have a place to hide their chicks from predation. That behaviour and part of the patterns like the facial mask are partially based on the european bee-eater (Merops apiaster).

Kazajstan. Oxfordian/Kimmeridgian stage of Final Jurassic period.
